Easter morning
Easter was fun... Andrew LOVED the plastic Easter eggs in his basket. He can't wait to tear into his chocolate bunny either (we'll put pictures up afterwards!). He got a stuffed Easter bunny, a new book, and a spring onesie... but it is cold outside today so he can't wear it! Here are a few pictures... check back later for more!
Loving Easter eggs...
Checking out my new book (and ALMOST ready for church)
Eating breakfast... (Andrew had a Peep in one of his Easter eggs and decided that it would go well with oatmeal) ???? Apparently he liked it!

Our trip to the zoo
We went to the zoo on Friday. It was a little chilly but we still had fun! Andrew loved looking at all of the animals. Here are some pictures!
"Once Upon a Farm" was fun... there was a lot he could do there! He wasn't quite sure what to think of the chicken... he liked looking from a distance but starting backing away when it got too close!
We went to see the pandas but didn't get a really good picture. Andrew loved looking at Ya Ya and Le Le and the China exhibit. Some bigger kids were getting their picture taken as explorers and Andrew walked right up and wanted to get his picture made too! He needed a lift up but what a cute picture!
And, finally, this is from the Northwest Passage exhibit. We had fun looking around the exhibit and watching the sea lion... and then we stayed to watch the sea lion show too. Andrew loved the music in this exhibit.
We were all really tired by the end of the day but we had a lot of fun! And we found out that a butterfly exhibit is opening Memorial Day weekend so we are excited to get to go back and see that this summer. :)

15 month update
Andrew went to the doctor for his 15 month checkup on Wednesday. He weighs 22 pounds, 7 oz. and is 31 inches tall. He is doing great! So here's the info on Andrew at 15 months:
He can:
Give "five"
Walk up steps holding Mommy or Daddy's hands (but not the ones at our house, they are too tall!)
Try to run
Eat with a fork or spoon (when he wants to... fingers are still faster!)
Point to nose and eyes (and head when "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes) is on.
Dance! :)
Say lots of words and some animal sounds: mama, daddy, nana (his babysitter), Blue (his teddy bear), fish (sh), kitty, more (and sign more too!), ball, shoe, splash, bye-bye, hi, cracker, cookie, baby, mmmm, uh-oh (have to get that one on video for you!), whoa!, up, cheese!, nose, quack, woof!, neigh, moo, bubbles

Nashville weekend
We went to Nashville last weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. My mom, Chad, Andrew and I went to the park Saturday morning -- and they were having an Easter egg hunt! So Andrew went on his first Easter egg hunt. He picked up on what to do really quickly... picking up things and putting them in containers is one of his favorite things to do anyway (yes, he is probably the most organized of the 3 of us at the moment). Anyway... he was SO cute! He is a little afraid of the Easter Bunny... not as scared as he was of Santa but still not wanting to let go of Mommy or Daddy! He did give the Easter Bunny "five" though! :) Then we had fun hanging out with my mom and my sister Nina and her family. Enjoy the pictures!
